Cold Night Shelter Activation


Pinellas County's Cold Night Shelters have been activated for Tuesday, December 19th

The National Weather Service expects the "feels like" temperature to reach the high 30's during this time. A list of Cold Night Shelters is below:

  • Boys and Girls Club of the Suncoast in Tarpon Springs
    Address: 111 W Lime Street, Tarpon Springs
    Hours: 6:00pm – 6:00am

  • First United Methodist Church of Clearwater
    Address: 411 Turner Street, Clearwater
    Hours: 6:00pm – 6:00am

  • Boys & Girls Club of the Suncoast in Pinellas Park
    Address: 7790 61st Street North, Pinellas Park
    Hours: 6:00pm – 6:00am

  • Northwest Church
    Address: 6330 54th Ave. North, St. Petersburg
    Hours: 6:00pm – 6:00am

  • Allendale United Methodist Church
    Address: 3803 Haines Road North, St Petersburg
    Hours: 6:00pm – 6:00am

  • WestCare Turning Point
    Address: 1810 5th Ave. North, St Petersburg
    Hours: 6:00pm – 6:00am

  • Unitarian Universalist Church of St. Petersburg
    Address: 100 Mirror Lake Drive North, St Petersburg
    Hours: 6:00pm – 6:00am
    Please Note: This location requires the use of stairs

  • Salvation Army, St. Pete
    Address: 1400 14th Street South, St. Petersburg
    Hours: 6:00pm – 7:30am

  • Families should call 2-1-1, Tampa Bay Cares, Inc. for referrals to Cold Night Family Shelters.

Additional Information:

  • Guests are accepted until the shelter is full.

  • All sites provide a warm place to sleep, and many sites also serve a meal.

  • Guests will be advised if the shelter will be open on additional nights as conditions warrant.
